I have to tell myself to just try it all the time. Sometimes I don’t dare cut into the beautiful fabric 😬 I love this particular fabric by with whimsical characters by and it’s perfect for my idea. So far so good. I think it will actually work!
I purchased these fabrics where you can select from the whole range of Acufactum fabrics. If you like what you see, stay tuned to how I plan to finish this project💕 A new pattern will be coming soon 💕

Another Tileworks pattern is in the works on my studio table. The shapes were laying there and I decided to pull out some fabrics by
Their designer is very talented in creating whimsical characters. I hope I do justice to these designs 😌
Stay tuned to see what I hope to create…I am testing this pattern so it may be a success or it may be sent to the do-over pile. It doesn’t matter though, because I’m having a lot of fun today.

We are beginning the celebration of 25 years of beautiful Tilda fabrics brought to us by the very talented and lovely Tone Finnanger. Thank you Tone! This deserves a celebration and I am loving the honour of working with your fabrics. The Jubilee Collection has arrived! Check for it at your local quilt store! Mine is and I love it that I have the opportunity to teach Tilda Club for Nancy. If you are not in the Niagara Region here in Canada, then consider beyond my area in Ontario and for everything Tilda💕 These ladies are the best of the best💕

💕Taking time to rest💕
I’ve taken a couple of weeks to truly rest. No hand work. No sketching. No posting. No studio time. I let the wind blow my hair crazy. I soaked up some sun while snow fell at home. I spent time exploring this beautiful world with my husband, who is my best friend. These weeks have been so good for me. And….It is good to be home💕
So now it is back to the studio and snow! I have some exciting new quilt projects in the works that I will soon show you.

💕Hands💕
These are my friend’s hands. These are servant hands. My friend’s gift was hosting, serving, making meals, holding babies, playing game after game after game, hugging a friend in need….the list goes on. And now she has taken hold of God’s Hand and is safe in the arms of Jesus.
I was privileged to take her hands one more time and let the moment just be a beautiful memory. My hands made this quilt for her many years ago. I had no thought that some day it would grace her hospital bed.
We were a trio. Our friendship began 46 years ago when my family moved to a small town. These two on either side of me welcomed me with open arms. We sometimes joked that we were Charlie’s Angels. 😅 And that is my friend…a welcomer through and through…
May your hands be used well in your God-given talents, my friends. Especially in this time of year, may your “hand opportunities” be filled with blessings to give and receive💕

I have taken the brave step to cut into these saved fabrics. Whew! Anyone else feel nervous when you take that step? Well life is too short to always keep things in a “save for that special project idea” and with Tilda turning 25 years old, I think it’s time💕
