A reminder to our community:
We appreciate the generosity of Beaumont and the support we receive from our community. However, we have been experiencing some irresponsible donors lately.
We kindly ask that you do not leave donations at our thrift store when we are closed. Items left outside cannot be brought into the store. When donations are dumped after hours, they can attract rodents, and animals or people may go through them, leaving a mess that our volunteers must clean up. This takes valuable time away from the work we do to support our community.
Our unpredictable Alberta weather also damages items left outdoors, making them unusable and defeating the purpose of reuse and recycling.
Dumping donations harms the appearance of our neighborhood and is disrespectful to nearby businesses who share this space with us.
We appreciate your generosity—please help us keep our community safe, clean, and beautiful by donating only during open hours. Donations are accepted from 10 - 4 Monday through Friday and 11-3 on Saturday. If you cannot make it during these times, or you have a donation that is very large (truck full) give us a call. We are happy to do our best to work with you.
