The new 5 Yards quilt books have been shipped!

A new holiday-themed release from Fabric Café featuring eight original quilt designs by Donna Robertson and Fran Morgan. Built on the popular 5-yard method, the book offers simple fabric selection, easy-to-follow instructions, and size options up to queen and king, making it a versatile and accessible addition for quilters of all skill levels.

This is a 28-page, full-color pattern book featuring eight 5-yard quilt designs. This book is Christmas themed offering patterns perfect for holiday fabrics. (Or everyday fabrics if you choose)

Check out this absolutely incredible Prince Quilt (a jaw-dropping foundation paper pieced pattern by Modern Quilt Patterns).

Here is how our amazing team brought this musical icon to life:

The Piecing: The lovely Erin meticulously pieced this masterpiece. To get that amazingly lifelike close-up of Prince, she featured a gorgeous blend of Hoffman Watercolor Batiks, set against a striking background of Ruby Star Society Speckled fabrics. The combo is pure magic!

The Longarming: Lindsay and Breeanna just loaded it up and finished it on the longarm, choosing the perfect Rain Drop panto by The Quilting Mill (because what else would you quilt onto Prince?! 🌧️💜).

The Finish: Willow is at the ready and about to work her magic putting the binding on to officially wrap up this new shop favourite!

If you are looking for your next favourite (and most useful!) bag project, look no further! We are so excited to show off our brand-new store sample of the Divided Tablet Tote, which is a brand-new pattern release by Canadian designer MaTante Quilting!

Our lovely Heather made this gorgeous version using the stunning "Sophishticated" fabric by Tula Pink 🐠✨. The vibrant fish prints look absolutely incredible on this layout, and Heather even added the optional little bow attachment for the perfect finishing touch!

We absolutely love supporting fellow Canadian pattern designers, and we can already tell this bag is an absolute winner. It's structural, practical, and a great way to showcase your favourite feature fabrics. Instructions include 3 versions.
