The Village Green Charming garden and gift centre specializing in local and organic products.

Locally-made handcrafts, including quilts of all sizes, soaps, lotions and essential oils. The Village Green offers locally-produced foods, hand crafted household goods and unique gift items. We believe in treading lightly on the earth so provide septic-safe cleaners as well as organic garden amendments and pest controls for sale. We also like unusual, funky, cool, old stuff (and that includes some of our regular customers!). If there is anything you would like us to stock for you, just ask and we'll see if we can get it in.

We now have 13 of my quilts posted on our Etsy site: Karyns1ofakindquilts. I won't be just sitting back and waiting for all the orders to come streaming in. No - I have another log cabin quilt ready to take to the longarmer. She has two of my other quilts already there and I am planning on cutting out the fabrics for my next quilt. New items continue to fill the store as well as replacements of some of our more popular merchandise. Lavender/flax neck wraps, mug rugs, Tallow body balms and rag rugs are back. We have more of Laurie's beautiful handmade beads made into pendants/key rings, embroidered kitchen towels, stunning lap quilts and - please admire my astonishing sunflowers meticulously planted by my resident squirrels!!!

A couple more quilted items arrived this week. There is an exquisite TechnoCrazy quilt for the man in your life - all blacks and mechanical gadgets. We priced this 76" x 76" at $575. The small table topper is reversible and is in today's popular colours - purple, pink and blue. It is 15" x 21" and is priced at $55. I'm at the store for two more days and then off to Calgary to visit my sister for a week. Hope to see you soon. Cheers.
