Less plastic, more good stuff. Come fill up on natural soaps, lotions, and cleaning essentials at Sweetbriar’s refillery. Keeping packaging out of our landfills, one Sweetbriar visit at a time!

One candle. Four local businesses. That’s the ripple effect of shopping small. 🕯️

Our in-house candle line starts with a small-batch pour from a Calgary candle maker, hand poured with care. From there, the labels come from a local printer, and every product photo and marketing touch is created by a local creative business. Then it all comes together on our shelves here at Sweetbriar Goods, where it becomes part of our story too.

So when you pick up one of these candles, you’re not just supporting one shop. You’re supporting four. Four local makers, four local businesses, one candle that carries all of them with it.

routine. is a sister duo from Calgary, AB, offering beautifully-packaged, natural and incredible smelling personal products from deodorant to shampoo to perfumes to toothpaste to body wash.

Camp + Co is based out of Fernie, BC and creates a curated selection of vibrant and unique jewelry.

If you’re new here, I thought it was time to properly introduce myself.

I’m the person behind Sweetbriar Goods, a little shop in Black Diamond, Alberta, built around something I believe deeply in. That where we choose to spend our money matters.

I’ve always believed that small businesses have the power to strengthen communities. That’s why I choose to partner with Canadian makers, artists, and independently owned businesses whenever I can. Some of the products you’ll find at Sweetbriar are proudly made in Canada, while others are thoughtfully sourced from around the world by Canadian companies I love to support. Every product on our shelves has a story, and every purchase helps support Canadian small businesses.

I love creating a space that feels welcoming, inspiring, and full of beautiful things made with care. Whether you’re looking for the perfect gift, something special for your home, or a little treat for yourself, I hope Sweetbriar feels like a place where you can slow down, explore, and discover something meaningful.

When I’m not at the shop, you’ll likely find me at the historic Twin Cities Hotel in Longview, another business that keeps me busy and connected to this incredible community.

I’m also endlessly grateful for Dani and Jaxon, who bring so much heart, kindness, and care to Sweetbriar every day. This little shop wouldn’t be the same without them.
