Create Escape is a working art studio that offers fine art and craft lessons to children and adults, as well as a finely curated selection of artisan wares

Hours may vary and it is best to call in advance. Please accept my apologize for any inconvenience. Create Escape believes that art is for everyone and that art should be a part of everyday life. In practice this means that lessons cater to both children and adults of varying ability, are offered in a variety of media, and take many different forms. Children's lessons are designed to grow with a child by providing them an artistic outlet from the time they are six months. After all, creativity is an essential skill that can and should be nurtured early.

For anyone that's been putting off registration for art classes, you're in luck! There are two spots left in the upcoming session.

-Classes will be November 23, December 7 & December 21, 2024
- We'll work with a variety of media in each of the three classes (watercolor, collage + acrylic, and a special mixed media painting project for the holidays)
- All classes will be 1 hour from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Cost is $90 for the three classes, this includes all supplies. Payment with 24 hours of confirming you'd like a spot.
- Recommended for kids 7 - 12 years (kids need to be able to listen, focus and follow directions somewhat independently).

Hello, hello!

My apologies for the long silence - to say it's been busy, is an understatement. It's still busy, but I really miss being in the studio. It fills my bucket and I know that art classes mean so much to so many kids. So, here's the plan to sneak in some art before the holiday season!

We wrapped up the latest Mini Masters session last weekend with a beautiful mini pallet for St Patty's Day!

The week before we did chalk pastel Flamingos and I forgot to share them. Great work everyone!!

Beautiful birds and bird houses were created in last Saturday's art class! Kids have this weekend off, but we'll get back at it the one after!

I felt like we were channeling the blustery weather in last Saturday's class! The kid's acrylic paintings with chalk pastel snowflakes turned out beautifully though! Looking forward to another class this weekend :)

Sharing a *little* teaser of the project I have planned for the Mini Masters session that starts this Saturday! I found this project really relaxing to create -- one of the reasons I love art!

Surprisingly, there are still a few spots left if you are interested in registering your artist. Classes run January 13, 20, February 3, 10, 24 and March 9 (please note, this last class has changed dates). Most classes are 10-11am, except February 10, which is from 9:30-11:30am.

Recommended for kids 6+. Cost $210. Pleas reach out with any questions!

I've been enjoying being back in the studio with budding artists SO much that I'm running another session starting in January!

Over the six sessions we will explore a variety of media from water colour to chalk pastel. I have some super fun projects in mind for this session that I know your little artist will love!

Classes are recommended for kids 6-12 years old. There will be 6 classes (one will be 2 hours). Dates for this session are below and all sessions are 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. except for the one with a * which will be 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Space is limited and this class always fills up quickly! Cost is $210 ($175 + $35 supplies fee). Payment within 48 hours of registration reserves your little artist's spot in the class! PM if you have any questions!
