🚁 The Helicopter Rides Are ON Today!
The wildfire smoke has subsided enough for helicopter operations to resume, and we’re excited to announce that helicopter rides will be running today at Cherryfest! Take in a truly next-level view of the festival and downtown Blenheim from above.

While you’re enjoying the festivities, don’t forget to:
🍒 Support the Blenheim Rotary 50/50 Draw in support of the Blenheim Medical Hub.
🥫 Bring a non-perishable food donation to Cherry Central to help support the Word of Life Church food bank.

🛍️ Be sure to support our local retailers and service providers—they’re the businesses that make Cherry Fest possible. While you’re strolling the sidewalks, don’t assume every sale is outside under a tent. Many of our clothing stores are holding their Sidewalk Days sales inside the store, so if you don’t see racks outside, step in and have a look. You’ll find some great deals while supporting the local businesses that help bring this incredible festival to our community.

🎶 Live music starts at 4:00 PM on the Mainstreet Credit Union Stage, and you can enjoy a cold refreshment from Bayside Brewery and Boatworks Social House while taking in the entertainment.

There’s something happening all day long, so grab the family, spend the day downtown, and enjoy everything Cherry Fest has to offer. We’ll see you at Cherryfest! 🍒

Cherryfest is still going strong today! If there are any additional updates, we will be sure to inform everyone.

We encourage everyone to make the decision that is best for them and their family. The information we are sharing is based on direction from local health agencies, and we will do our best to continue to monitor things.

Thank you to our Northern neighbours and first responders who are working hard to get the fires under control. We appreciate everything you do!

🚨 Air Quality Warning – Cherry Fest Update

Chatham-Kent Public Health has issued an Orange Level Air Quality Warning due to wildfire smoke affecting our area. Poor air quality is expected today and may persist through Friday, July 17.

At this time, Cherry Fest is proceeding as scheduled.

If you plan to attend, please be mindful of the air quality and take any precautions that are appropriate for you, particularly if you have a heart or lung condition, are pregnant, are an older adult, have young children, or will be spending extended periods outdoors.

We will continue to monitor the situation and share updates should conditions change.

Stay informed by following Chatham-Kent Public Health and Environment Canada for the latest air quality information. 🍒
