Thank you for an incredible day yesterday in the barn 🤍
My heart is full. Your kind words & gestures were everything.

I am full of gratitude for all of you that show up, comment & let little pieces of the shop into your homes.
So thankful for my family that helped yesterday with the chaos!

I will post a few things over the next couple weeks that are still available for anyone interested 🤍

Cash Or Etransfer. If you need to pay by CC, tax will be added, plus a 5% service. No bags so please bring your own.

EVERYTHING is for SALE & must go!
We have a little bit of Christmas, Fall & Everyday pieces, display baskets etc PLUS all remaining fixtures!

Upstairs you will find a small estate sale with glass, crystal, art, collectibles etc.

I’ve had people message to say they cannot make it on Saturday - not to worry, anything left over, I will post next week and arrange pick ups.
Please note this has been crossed promoted so for those of you that had inquiries on some of our fixtures that are left, ACT fast before they are gone to the public.

It’s a bittersweet moment closing the full-time retail side of Bella Fleur after 10 yrs🤍

Lots of questions on next steps or what we are planning on doing with this beautiful barn & all I can say is stay tuned since we are discussing a few options for 2027 🤍

Well not the pretty pics of the shop I am used to taking but up 1st is some display pieces available.

All sales final. Cash or Etransfer. If you prefer to pay credit, invoice will be emailed to you with tax included plus a 5% service fee.
Everything is priced to sell throughout the shop. Everything must go!

No matter how you take a pic in our front entryway, you will always see shadows from all the beautiful trees outside our front door, but I absolutely love when the sun peaks through ☀️

This wasn’t always the view! We saw this house three times before we made an offer because each time we were hung up on this front entry. You could tell it went through many transitions since 1873 & needed some TLC. Swipe to see the before! This piece of project Sunderland has taken awhile but has been worth the wait 🤍

We knew it was going to be a big expensive task to relocate the stairs and close it in, but I knew I always wanted some sort of a built-in with storage in this small space. Something this beautiful old home was lacking.

Enter my extremely talented and handy father-in-law & husband to make that vision come to life, then add in some beautiful custom cabinets to seal the deal.

I’ve met with a painter to start putting some colour on these walls in a few weeks & then I may be able to cross this portion off our Reno list🤍
With the cold weather coming in this view will be stacked with coats in no time.

It’s been awhile since I took pics for Insta or FB so need to get practicing again although these angles & lighting are definitely not showing how gorgeous these dining room built-ins are 🤍

First up for project Sunderland was creating these beauties with Wheelers Studio. We have done 2 projects so far with their amazing team with more on the way 🤍 I absolutely LOVE how it all came together.
This dining room from 1873 is getting lots of love. (watch my stories to see the wallpaper we found hidden behind the wall!) 153 years of memories in the making 🤍

I knew I wanted something bold and moody with tons of storage & they did not disappoint.

One of my absolute favourite colours is Farrow & Ball De Nines & I knew I wanted to incorporate it somewhere in our home. A bit of a smokey blue/grey & something I know we will love for years to come.
Re•novāre Marble & Granite provided this gorgeous stone with a blue/grey vein that matches perfectly.
I ordered from Yester Home for the brass hardware to give it that classic feel. The brass will patina overtime and I can’t wait for them to have an antique feel. Adding back plates already gives it a bit of a vintage vibe. Yes they are from the UK but it is the second project that I have ordered from them for & it always arrives quickly with no hidden fees. 100% worth it.

Up Next is narrowing in on a wallpaper to complement these stunning cabinets & the paint we’ve chosen for the hallway (more on that later)

Starting with a blank slate today for some Fall / Halloween decor 🎃🍂

What a fitting way to say Goodbye to 2025. Quietly, still & somehow peaceful in this 10 second moment after a tough personal year & a rough Holiday season. (& yes that’s another tree down in between the barn & studio🤦🏼‍♀️)
For those that popped up in my DM’s asking how I was or who have been following our journey, my Father passed away a few days ago. It wasn’t quiet, peaceful or still. It was chaotic, messy & heartbreaking.
Something that has played over a million times in my mind in a few short days. There has been no sleep but the only comfort I can find is I know my Mother was there to greet him & welcome him home 🤍

Christmas day he sat here & couldn’t get over that we had snow & how pretty everything looked, he kept saying “It’s beautiful”🤍 It really is. I love it here & everything feels so magical. COLD but perfect. I love that I get to share it for a few short months of the year with you.

My message to you 1st is Thank you. Thank you for allowing me to take the time off this year but showed up for the shop when we opened briefly in November. My head could not focus on the business & I was so scared that people would not show up since in this day we are spoiled for choice. But you did & my heart was full.
2nd Hug & cherish your loved ones. No matter how difficult they can be or how frustrating it seems if it’s not the easiest relationship.
3rd may 2026 bring beautiful blessings & happiness to you all. This is more than just a decor shop, its a community that I cherish. Some of your visits & conversations are some of my favourite life moments 🤍

Thats a wrap on the shortest Bella Fleur Season 🤍 With this year being so consuming for me, opening the shop for a few short weeks was exactly what my soul needed. Thank you! Thank you for clearing out some of the barn so I can make way for new, Thank you for the messages, visits & as always, Thank you for your continued support of this little barn shop.

I always get asked why I close in the winter - it’s messy, COLD & not a fun drive so my sweet barn gets a little break.

2026 we have some projects we are starting around here🤍 & I will be sharing some progress pics. The shop will be back part time late Spring so stay tuned for updates.

Till then we wish you the most magical & love filled holiday season.
