Getting it "right! sometimes really takes time...recently we have been looking for that really good alarounder for small Trout in the 3 wt range and boy did we nail it..the Beulah 10'8' #3 Platinum G2 single hander is performing with impeccable results...yes using a Vision XO85 #5 single handed line ...super accurate and a real pleasure to cast...these neww lines are Awesome!! Yesterday using small Gurglers ,of course Euro Nymphing along the way and even Bead Head Rolled Muddlers...what a treat

Trout fishing is one of those things June has to offer...Most Sea Run Cutties have left the streams to roam the beaches but there are those fish that stay in the streams longer,,,along with their cousins the Rainbow Trout..do enjoy such splendor and embrase this beautiful time of year

this time of year really brings out the joy of nature..so many of us seek those wild places and wild creatures that ring true to our heart...Beautiful little Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat Trout, heards of Elk, the Sly Cougar ,young Black bear grazing along the road side, even the odd Grizzly bear...very warming and a time to share...also time for that special fly rod and reel to get down to business,,this Beulah 10'8" #3 Nymph Rod is not a pure Nymph rod...it does it all

We are back from Cuba where we had extreme Blue Skies and Ocean waters so yes I am at the dyeing pot again...keeping the Blue in front amd in mind... Sometimes Steelhead thoughts are Blue in Nature so to the tying bench we go...here you see a good batch of Schlappen ad Marabou feathers drying out getting ready for the Vise!!

We will be back to work on the 28th/Wednesday next week...Our week in Cuba was again very rewarding,,,if you are into Grand Slams this is a good place to bet.... we will return in May for exceptional fishing for all these great species...Permit, Big Tarpon,Big Bonefish, Big Barracude and simply a lot of fun!!apologize for any inconvenience
