Meet our Creative Merchandiser – Kathy Kristensen

20 Years of working with Devrew!

Kathy has worked at Devrew as Merchandiser as a Supervisor/ Trainer, visual merchandiser and retail merchandiser in the Vancouver area. She loves the flexibility, variety of jobs and meeting new people. She really enjoyed working with different projects each month as it brought out her creative side. Her best career lesson is to have a positive attitude and establish a good working relationship with Managers and staff. Most people don’t know that Kathy is an outdoor enthusiast and loves to go boating on the many lakes in BC. She is also an avid golfer and living on the west coast allows her to golf year round.

Meet our Trusted Merchandiser - Darlene Sullivan

25 years of working with Devrew!

Darlene enjoys working as a merchandiser for Devrew as it gives her the flexibility to schedule her time. She also enjoys being able to do a variety of jobs and going to different stores and meeting many interesting people. Staying focused on the jobs for the day is something she has learned over the 25 years of working as a merchandiser. Her mantra is One day at a time.

She loves interior decorating and would like to go on vacations if she is not working. Her family and friends describe her as loyal, caring and giving.

EMPLOYEE HIGHLIGHT!

Meet our Loyal Supervisor – JANICE FRAPPA

Janice has been a merchandiser for Devrew for over 20 years as well as a supervisor for the last 6 years.

She enjoys being a merchandiser. The freedom and convenience of the schedule allows her to have a balance of work, social and home life. The flexibility of the schedule ensures she can run her part time Day Care, volunteer at school, go on school trips, attend assemblies and still be there for her kids when they need her. She likes the highs and lows of the industry as it gives her time to plan her whole year’s activities – work, family vacation, projects around the house, and her hobbies.

Talking about likes and hobbies, Janice is very interested in genealogy and has been doing family research for almost 30 years. She is passionate about gardening and has run a small gardening business for 10+ years where she designs gardens that have won the Ontario Trillium award. Her personal garden also won the Ontario Trillium award in 2021. She is an avid hiker and enjoys the outdoors, loves photography, nature, astronomy, and home improvements. She is very interested in the history of the city of Hamilton as she has lived there all her life. She is also an ardent lifelong Beatles fan and loves the television series Coronation Street.

Janice has proven her commitment and ability in leading her team to a lot of successful and well executed merchandising projects.

We are grateful that you are part of the Devrew Family.
