Making bias tape for my quilts is not my most favourite thing. Sewing strips together and then ironing it out becomes tedious. However, when the results are this beautiful it just makes me want to shriek and make more!

And in the picture is my new project iron! I won it from Idleblooms. Check out all the incredibly beautiful stuff she has in her shop!

Even tiny scraps, when incredibly beautiful cannot be thrown away and I want to save every bit. The inspiration has been saved to my Pinterest account for a long time (picture is the beige pillow) and finally it’s made. Well the top is complete not the entire pillow yet.

I’m in love with how this turned out. I wasn’t sure at first about using black as the background only because I loved the beige but the black pops!

Just a sneak peak. I don’t want to giveaway the entirety yet. This has been a labour of love ❤️ just like all my quilts....

Just finished this beauty today. The original pattern was smaller but I wanted to make a larger quilt so a small block just would not do. I enlarged each piece by 150% on my printer and then continued to paper piece it. I actually had to divide one of the white spaces into two because I used an entire yard of white fabric on this block. Lucky for me I was able to get just enough to finish. So next up is to finish the remaining parts around this block to finish a quilt.

New tape! My machine is decades old and the faceplate has no guidelines. Washi tape comes to my rescue. The old tape was coming off and ripping so easily enough, peel off the old and replace with new. Also don’t you just love 😍 that beautiful fabric!
