1n 1994 this guitar was disemboweled to put in humbuckers, but was never finished. I recreated the wiring for the original pickups on this Stewart electric and it made music for the first time in 30 years

I created this parametric 3d printed nut jig that will fit any nut and any number of strings. I input the number of strings fretboard radius, height of the nut, distance to fretboard edge and its thickness and length into the program and it creates the jig for making a guitar nut. The first jig is for rough cutting the string slots in the correct location and sanding it months correct thickness. Then it goes in the second jig to have the proper radius created. Then it is finally fit to the guitar with proper radius strings slots and final shaped and polished.

The goal of a REPAIR is not to make damage invisible. The only way to eliminate this type of catastrophic damage would be to replace the top. However it can be repaired so it is structurally sound, unlikely to worsen, and be what it can be aesthetically. In other words it can be repaired. This required stabilizing the crushed top, making new purfling (the dark and light lines around the edge), splicing in the White plastic binding replacing the side chipped rosewood, and a lot of coloring and refinishing. It's not done but it'd getting closer.

This part of the sides of this were warped and one part wanted to zig when the other zagged, so they would not line up properly. I created an adjustable jack to get the sides to line up properly. Thanks to .strings for advice on getting the ends to align when back shrunk.

Tricky multi stage glue up on this seven string circa 1930. It arrived in pieces and was badly warped, especially the sides, as well as having the top badly broken. Due to the warped sides I have to glue it with in small segments.
