Had to take advantage of a cooler day and get some soil bagged. Once mixed the soil heats up and goes through a thermophilic cycle that lasts about 2 weeks in the 2 yard totes. If it’s left in a big pile the heat can last for weeks!

Piper is happy to announce we have lots of bubble snakes and tea bags in stock! Piper was happily surprised to see the box didn’t have actual snakes!!!🐍 👌

We have rice hulls back in stock! These are a good option for mulching/weed suppression on the top of your soil. They are easy to pull back when needed, easy to apply, and provide a good source of silica as they break down.

We are always humbled by our customers generosity! It was a long day on Friday and we received a very generous gift from Bonnieheath Estate Lavender Farm & Winery I will say it was a wonderful treat after work and also even better enjoyed on Father’s Day!!! Nature is very cool. My kids found this “little” guy in their bedroom. They were a little freaked out but happy I got it out. We spent some time searching and believe it is a European hornet. Although not a native species it is considered a naturalized species. This one is huge and would definitely startle anyone that came across it. We gave it a feed of apple and released it in the morning.

We are very happy to now be offering Terram worm castings! These worm castings are created with a focus on quality and microbial composition 🥰 We got our first load last week and will be incorporating these castings in our soil and compost mix going forward.

Just mixing a batch of biochar. We like to use fish hydrolysate, worm castings, fish compost, molasses malted barley flour and some EM1. 👌
