What does the resistance number on a v**e coil mean?

Measured in ohms (Ω), resistance is one clue to how a coil was designed to operate.

Lower-resistance coils are commonly designed for higher power, more open airflow, and greater vapour production. Higher-resistance coils are commonly designed for lower power, tighter airflow, and lower vapour production.

Resistance alone does not determine va**ng style. Always check the coil’s recommended wattage and confirm that your device supports its resistance range.

Weak flavour and burnt flavour are different problems with different fixes.

Burnt means the cotton scorched.

Weak usually means less liquid is v***rizing, or the vapour is being diluted before it reaches you.

Coil wear, airflow, and wattage account for most of it, and the printed range on your coil solves more complaints than any other single check.

Charge it while you’re awake and nearby.

The rest is performance.

Chain va**ng outpaces the wick.
Wrong liquid fights your device. Too thick for small pods, too thin for sub-ohm tanks.
And a coil fades long before it tastes burnt.

If your coils fade early, keep spares.
Swap it, don’t push it.
