This year, instead of my usual herbal Self-Care boxes, I’m offering a slightly altered version in the form of... chocolate!! In the past few years, I’ve been mastering the art of truffle making! These are beautiful gifts for holidays, hosts, gatherings and guests. Or just for you!! You deserve it! Merry and bright.

Arnica is wonderful. You can find it in my RELEASE salve with cayenne oil to help soothe your sore muscles. ❤️

Science suggests topical preparations of this arnica may work as well as nonsteroidal ant-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for relieving osteoarthritis pain. One study found arnica gel was as effective as daily ibuprofen for people with arthritis in their hands, while another showed significant reductions in pain and stiffness caused by arthritis of the knee in patients who used arnica gel twice a day for three to six weeks. Not just for chronic pain, arnica is also excellent for treating sprains, strains, swelling, and other injuries, making it a good addition to your first aid kit. In addition to gel, topical arnica is available as a cream, ointment, oil, and tincture and can be applied liberally to any sore spot or arthritic joint, although you should avoid areas of broken skin. Arnica should never be used internally.
