In 2016 the Gift Shop donated $55000 towards patient care and hospital equipment. The Gift Shop has a department selling snacks and cold drinks, small toys, puzzle and adult colouring books as well as a selection of greeting cards. There is a wide range of gift ware, jewellery, scarves, purses and a small selection of clothing. Plus we have a wide selection of Teddy Bears, other stuffed toys, baby
clothes and gifts for new born babies. Small floral arrangements are available every day and for most special occasions. We also have a good variety of used books to suit avid readers. These are donated by the public and resold over again. Many donated articles include baby clothes, aprons, clothespin bags, dolls clothes, breast feeding cover ups, adult comfort blankets and baby blankets. There are a number of dedicated knitters and sewers who provide these. We are always pleased to receive donations or have new sewers or knitters join us. Although the shop is run by a team of volunteers who give their time freely, there is always a need for more to help in the shop. If you are able or want to help please contact us by email. Raffles are held periodically throughout the year and
our current one is for an outdoor fireplace. Tickets are available at the Gift Shop for $1 each and the winner will be drawn on June 19th 2017. We also hold other events such as Bake Sales and departmental sales at other times of the year. These will be posted as they occur.
