There's been lots of interest in sci-fi and fantasy in the store this fall. It's been hard to keep the shelves full, but good stuff keeps coming in...

On a housekeeping note: the Fall Sale ends today. I am, however, contemplating a history sale some time next month.

Further housekeeping: I hate to be closed again so close to Thanksgiving, but it looks like I will be. Walking Owl Books will NOT be open for its usual hours this coming Sunday (October 18). Normal hours will resume on the 19th.

Just a couple quick updates: First of all, the big Fall Sale will be ending around the 16th of October, meaning that the next week is THE best time to get big, odd books like these.

Second; the bookstore will be close on Monday, October 12 for Thanksgiving. As per usual, it will also be closed on Tuesday, and will return to normal hours on Wednesday, October 14.
