A year ago, my daughter painted this Scorpion King, designed by
Jason Rodriguez.
It’s interesting to look back at it now. One year after painting this piece, she’s studying Industrial Welding in Niagara.
And the Scorpion King has continued on his own journey too. He’s now part of our friend Israel Ramirez’s collection and has even made a few appearances in his reviews.

A Small but Important Pricing Update
Hi everyone,
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been talking with our resin suppliers, reviewing our costs, and doing a lot of math behind the scenes.
We’ve started adjusting prices across the Dusk Till Dawn Studio store.
Our goal is simple: keep our printed parts competitive and affordable, especially for our customers in the United States, while also offering better prices to our customers in Canada and other countries.
With the current costs of doing business and shipping across the border, this isn’t an easy balance. Some of these changes will mean a smaller profit margin for us, but we believe it’s worth it if it helps us keep doing what we love, continue serving our customers, and stay competitive with the market.
There are a lot of products in our store, so this process will take time. Over the next few months, you may come across a price that doesn’t make sense or something else on the website that just doesn’t look or work right.
And this is where we could use your help!
If you find any bug or mistake on our website, please let us know. It could be a pricing error, a misspelled word, a broken link, a category that doesn’t work, a missing image, incorrect information, or anything else that needs fixing.
If you report a bug or error to us, we’ll give you 10% off your next purchase as a thank-you for helping us improve the store.
We’re a small studio, and changes like this take a bit of work to get right. Your feedback helps us more than you might think.
We hope these adjustments will allow Dusk Till Dawn Studio to keep moving forward and make our printed parts more accessible to collectors in the U.S., Canada, and around the world.

An Update for Our U.S. Customers — August 22

Unfortunately, we don’t have the update we were hoping to share.

The trade discussions between Canada and the United States ended last night without a final agreement. As a result, the new 50% U.S. import tariff officially took effect today and currently applies to the tariff classifications used for our products.

This means that the 50% charge shown at checkout is no longer a temporary estimate. It is an import charge collected and paid through our tariff-processing platform. Dusk Till Dawn Studio does not receive or keep any part of it, and unfortunately, it is far too large for our small business to absorb.

The orders we were able to process during the temporary pause have already been shipped and should be on their way. New U.S. orders will now be subject to the current import tariff.

What does this mean for Dusk Till Dawn Studio?

To be completely honest, this puts us in a very difficult position. Most of our customers are in the United States, and this new tariff places the future of Dusk Till Dawn Studio as a small business creating printed parts for Mythic Legions customizers at real risk.

We know this situation is not the fault of our U.S. customers. You have supported us, encouraged us, shared our work, and helped us grow over the years. We are incredibly grateful for that, and we truly hope that both governments can find a fair and reasonable solution as soon as possible.

In the meantime, we would like to ask our friends and customers outside the United States for a little extra support. If you are in Canada or another country and have been considering placing an order, visiting our store and supporting us whenever you can would mean more to us right now than we can properly express.

Even if you are not able to place an order, sharing our work or telling another collector about us can also make a difference.

A Quick Tariff Update for Our U.S. Customers — August 19

We wanted to share a quick update following our previous post.

Canada and the United States are still talking, and the new 50% tariffs have officially been postponed until Saturday, August 22, at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time. We still don’t know what the final tariff rate will be, but we’re hopeful that the extra time will lead to a better outcome.

For now, the platform we use to process import duties has returned the tariff calculation to 15%. This allowed us to ship the completed orders we had placed on hold, and those packages should now be on their way!

Please keep in mind that the 15% rate has not yet been confirmed as final. Our website is also still showing a 50% import charge for new U.S. orders, so you may prefer to wait a little longer before placing an order while we wait for clearer information.

We’ll continue watching the situation closely and will keep everyone updated as soon as we know more.

Important Update for Our U.S. Customers

We want to share an important update regarding shipments from Canada to the United States.
A new 50% U.S. import tariff is now being applied to our products. In the past, Dusk Till Dawn Studio absorbed additional import costs whenever possible, but unfortunately, a charge of this size is something we cannot cover ourselves.
Customers with completed orders will be contacted directly and offered three options: receive a refund, have us safely hold the order while we wait for possible changes, or pay the applicable tariff so the shipment can be processed.
Discussions between Canadian and U.S. authorities are still ongoing, so the situation may change in the coming days. We will continue sharing updates as soon as reliable information becomes available.
We are truly sorry for the inconvenience and uncertainty this creates. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support of our small Canadian business.
