THIS WEEK’S STAR OF THE SHOW!

This week we are highlighting “pickled asparagus” a the Brockville Farmers' Market. Pickled asparagus has a tangy and sometimes spicy flavour with a satisfying crunch. It can be eaten as a snack, added to charcuterie boards, used as a garnish for cocktails like ceasars or Bloody Marys, or incorporated into salads and appetizers.

Ingredients: Asparagus, garlic, mustard seeds, coriander seeds, dill seeds, peppercorns, chili flakes, fresh dill, pickle crisp, vinegar, water, pickling salt.

You can find me at stall #18 at the Brockville Farmers Market this coming Saturday

Stall #18 at the Brockville Farmers' Market is turning into a condiment party this weekend, with pickled asparagus, pickled garlic, carmalized onion jam that's so good you'll want to marry it, blueberry rhubarb jam that's the perfect blend, Thai sweet chili dipping sauce for your snacking needs, sweet and spicy mustard that adds a kick and all the rest of the good stuff, see you there tomorrow 8-1pm Brockville Farmers' Market
