Dear Beloved,
If you look for me this Christmas, you won’t need a special star
I’m no longer just in Bethlehem, I am right there where you are
And you may not be aware of me amid all of those celebrations
You’ll have to look beyond the stores and all those decorations
But if you take just a quick moment from your list of things to do
If you listen with your heart you’ll find I’m waiting there for you
You’re the one I want to be with you’re the reason that I came
And you’ll find me in the stillness as I’m whispering your name

Christmas Wishes
I wish you lots of love and peace I wish you little joys

Of squealing youngsters glad with every precious gift

I wish our beautiful earth abundance and climate fix
I wish a house of straw will become a home of bricks
I wish homes for the homeless and shoes on their feet
I wish for them prosperity and for healthy food to eat
I wish for all at Christmas, goodwill and peace on earth

The Best Christmas Gift

You won’t find it wrapped in paper or under the Christmas Tree
It is something that we cherish it’s not something that we can see
It doesn’t fit in your stocking and yet you know that it’s all around
Sometimes it spoken loudly and sometimes it doesn’t make a sound
It doesn’t cost you any money and it your budget it will never break
Yet it’s not that easily given and sometimes it’s very hard to take
It is not something that you can wear but nevertheless it is real
You can wear it on the inside because it’s something that you feel
It’s a special bond of a friendship with best wishes for the new year
It’s the love from your family whether they’re miles away or near

Christmas Time in Heaven

Although I miss you terribly and I wish you were still here
I know that heaven has its own brand of Christmas cheer
You are there with your sister, brother, your dad & mum
And singing the sweetest carols and smiling like the sun
The angels and the trumpets are surely a beautiful sight
And the special gift of knowledge that your family’s alright
The food and all the trimmings must be a wonderful treat
And all the cherished memories & loved ones you'll meet
I will miss you always but I’m so happy that you are there
With family who went before looking down on us with care

The Christmas Wreath

Oh! Christmas wreath upon the wall,
Within thine ivied space
I see the years beyond recall,
Amid thy leaves I trace
The shadows of a happy past,
When all the world was bright,
And love its magic splendour cast
O’er morn and noon and night.

Oh! Christmas wreath upon the wall,
’Neath memory’s tender spell
A wondrous charm doth o’er thee fall,
And round thy beauty dwell.
Thine ivy hath the satiny sheen
Of tresses I’ve caressed,
Thy holly’s crimson gleam I’ve seen
On lips I oft have pressed.

Oh! Christmas wreath upon the wall,
A mist steals o’er my sight.
Dear hallow’d wreath, these tears are all
The pledge I now can plight
To those loved ones whose spirit eyes
Shine down the flight of time;
Around God’s throne their voices rise

Life is a Journey

Life’s not a coincidence, it doesn’t happen by chance
Life is your journey and it’s your own lovely dance
We learn how we can relate as we spread our wings
We find the simple pleasures in the smallest of things
Sometimes our life’s not easy sometimes it’s quite tough
And none of it is insignificant even in the tiniest stuff
It’s in the roughest times that we all learn how to deal
We find out what’s imagined & we find out what’s real
Our life is but a journey we are aware of the whole trip
If we enjoy our journey there’s no way we’ll lose our grip

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
