This is a popular model, The Celt.

This one is made of Granadillo, a phenomenal tonewood. I sprayed the first coat of gloss today, it will be sanded down and sprayed 2 more times to build the finish. The guitar is our best "all rounder" guitar, as it is 7/8ths the size of a dreadnought, so it has a big voice. The slightly smaller size makes a difference in comfort, it does not feel too big like a dreadnought can do. The cutaway allows you better access to the upper frets.

It should be finished within the next month. Drop by and give it a go. We are at 340 County road 5, Mallorytown. We are open 6 days a week, 10 til 4 daily, and 10 til noon on Saturdays.

This morning I had a visit from Doug from Ottawa. He was playing our Baby Bear model, so I asked if I could record a short clip. This guitar is one of two parlour models we have in stock. Enjoy!!

GUITAR TUNEUP COURSE TOMORROW! WE HAVE ROOM FOR YOU, THERE IS 3 BENCHES AVAILABLE.
This course is for acoustic guitar owners that want to learn how to set up and care for their guitars. The course starts at 9am and finishes about 1pm. Lunch included, it costs $250 taxes included. If you want to register today, just call me at (613) 292-1985

Jeff Callery and Shawn McCullough are coming to Blackwood! Join us here on October 3rd at 340 County Road 5. The music starts at 7:30pm. It's an opportunity to hear/see Blackwood Guitars in action. If you haven't heard a Blackwood, this is a great chance to see and hear what they can do. There will be a Blackwood shop tour between the 2 sets that evening. You can also try the guitars once the performers are done.
