🚨 **Tiny Small Business Rant™** 🚨
Can we talk about something for a second?
**Please stop negotiating my prices like we’re at a garage sale.** 😂
When you walk into Walmart, Lids, Winners, or literally any other retail store and see a price tag, do you walk up to the cashier and say:
“Hmmmm… would you take $15 instead of $25?” 🤔
No. You pay the price on the tag. 😂
So what makes it okay to do that to a small business?
My prices aren’t pulled out of thin air. They include the product, materials, supplies, embroidery/printing, my time, my equipment, electricity, packaging, fees… and yes, **the actual hours I spend making the product.**
I’m a small business, not a yard sale. 😂
And trust me, I understand wanting a good deal. I’m a shopper too! But there’s a difference between finding a sale and asking someone who is already working hard to make something for you to make even less.
**Small business prices are not “starting prices.” They’re the price.** ❤️
Okay. Rant over. 😂
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk. 🎤
