Bédé Crack Comics I buy, sell and trade DC and Marvel comics as well as other comic Publishers.

I promote Canadian Comic Book Creators including these artists: John Byrne, Todd McFarlane, Win Mortimer, Stuart Immonen, Yanick Paquette and David Finch. My inventory includes silver age stalwarts like Denny O’Neil and Neal Adams at DC and Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and Gene Colan at Marvel as well as Joe Gill and Steve Ditko at Charlton. The emphasis of the collection is the the Modern period since

9/11 although I have excellent Batmans and Captain Americas from the Silver, Bronze and Copper Ages. My comic book prices range from a $2.00 bin full of NM copies right up to expensive 10 cent Batmans and Caps from the 50s.

The same thing with 8 supernatural books with no weird heroes. The same thing with 8 repetitious Superman Family books. The DC implosion - You would have to have a tone-deaf editorial staff to launch 10 war books five years after the end of the Vietnam War. The same thing with 8 supernatural books with no weird heroes. The same thing with 8 repetitious Superman Family books. THE GOLDEN AGE OF COMICS

IMHO, the Golden Age has shrunk to 3 Trinities – Superman, Batman & Wonder Woman; Captain America, Sub-Mariner & Human Torch; and The Spirit, Plastic Man & Captain Marvel. Because these heroes survive today, Collectors, Readers and Investors will continue to search out and buy them. Other Fans collect great artists like Jack Kirby, Will Eisner and Lou Fine in no matter which books that they appear. The more average Golden Age artists like Shuster, Burgos, Everett and others have pretty much fallen to the side.
This narrower focus helps Collectors separate the quality books from the staggering volume of books published in that era.
I think that Collectors will continue to fill runs, Readers will continue to use libraries, reprint Trades or ebooks and Investors will continue to concentrate on 1st appearances and great covers but from more modern eras.
The Golden Age heroes and stories have only limited interest to the gaming, film and television companies who don’t suffer from a lack of content from later periods. Classic pulp heroes like Sherlock Holmes and Tarzan will continue to be revived but the Flash Gordons and the Buck Rogers have been superseded by Star Wars and Star Trek.
I personally collect artists like Ditko, Adams, Miller and Cooke and am very selective about what is key.

Stan Lee's handlers had him sign so many books that they have ultimately devalued his signature's worth and diminished his reputation as comics greatest Super-Hero. He is now regarded in some circles as either a money-grubber or a patsy. What an ill-starred ending to a stellar career. As we say in French "C'est dommage" or "It's sad".

Scolding is their super-strength.
Micro-aggressions are their kryptonite.
Marvel Comics says they’re trying to appeal to the super-woke with the introduction of two new characters to dox and defend the planet.
Meet Snowflake and Safespace.
According to the comics giant, the duo are psychic twins keenly aware of modern culture and mores.
Snowflake sports cropped blue hair and a matching spandex and is non-binary (a person who doesn’t identify as male or female) and creates snowflake-shaped blades to throw at bigots, free speech advocates and haters.
Safespace can create pink force-fields for defence against those same haters.
The new characters will be introduced as part of the New Warriors series. The company says their powers are “a postironic meditation on using violence to combat bullying.”
“The connotations of the word ‘snowflake’ in our culture right now are something fragile,” co-creator Daniel Kibblesmith said. “Snowflake is a character who is turning it into something sharp.”
But not every woke comics fan is signing up for the avocado toast-tinged heroes.
One critic called the comic “extremely tone-deaf” and making a mockery of the LGBTQ community.
The New Warriors series also features modern superheroes B-Negative, Screentime and Trailblazer.
