I have owned this wonderful little German-made sewing machine since 1995. I seriously think it has been serviced one time, it's such a great little workhorse. But I found the owner's manual tonight while puttering through some other things and decided that I would finally change the light bulb that has been out for at least 6 years. 🙄 It took me a little while to figure out how to get it apart, but I think I'm going to give this little machine some love and see if I can use it to finish a quilting project that I started in the the summer of 2023, and which seems to be confounding my fancy schmancy machine. 🙏🙏

What's been going on around here lately? Well, it's been filling my last orders before Christmas and, now that I can relax a bit during the slower winter months, I've been doing lots of s including these two.

The first is called "Plaidish" from and it turned out AMAZING 🤩. It's a lap quilt 71" x 71".

The second is "English Stars" from and I made that for #1 daughter's 16th birthday gift (which was way back in October, but better late than never! 😉). She loves it and so do I!

Both were quilted by the talented .

Thank God Canadian winters are long and perfect for spending cold evenings quilting. 😁

Way before it was cool to "shop green", the awesome Ptbo GreenUp store was offering quality merchandise to people who wanted to reuse instead of throw away. They were my very first retail location, way back in 2017!!!

You'll see in the post that they're open for shopping until Dec 21 and I still have a good selection of pads available there so get them while you can!!

Consignment items like mine will not be part of the sale in January, so if you don't get them now you won't have another chance.

Just a girl in the last 2.06 m of the amazing, made in Canada, 100% cotton absorb material - my supplier is officially out.

I use this amazing fabric exclusively in my pads, period underwear, and toddler training pants.

You still have some time to place an order. I have orders still on my list (I've been distracted by my bake sale taking place tomorrow, I haven't forgotten about you ladies!!!), but those orders won't use up all of this material. If you're looking for some fantastic pads that are going to last for the next five plus years, let me know and let's get you looked after before I close up shop.
