My loves, there have been so many medical emergencies in this household since August. And that means a comfort project that doesn’t require me to look at a pattern, or think much 🧡🧡
I am healing well, and only 2 weeks left until I see my surgeon to get the all-clear :) mom had her surgery two weeks ago; her spine was decompressed and fused from C2 to T1. It’s pretty intense, the procedure and also the healing process, but we’re taking it day by day :) prior to this, mom was rapidly losing mobility and manual dexterity, but I already see some improvement in her hands, so yay!
When I was in grade five, I never wanted to go outside for recess with the other kids (serious bullying). My teacher used to let me stay with her, and she’d make hot chocolate, and she taught me how to make a granny square. So when I’m stressed, I think of Miss Cleeton and I grab my hook 🧡🧡
