READY, SET, KINDERGARTEN! - Register Today!

What an incredible summer it has been at Learning Tree! After seven weeks of SOLD OUT summer camps, we’re thrilled to cap off our summer camp season with one of our most special programs — Ready, Set, Kindergarten!

Designed for children entering JK or SK, this fun and engaging week is the perfect way to get back into a routine and feel confident and excited about heading to school in September!

Throughout the week, our little learners will enjoy:

📚 Early literacy & numeracy activities
🎨 Crafts & hands-on learning

What a fantastic way to wrap up our first-ever Time Travellers Camp!

On our final day, we blasted into the future! Students imagined their future selves—where they might live, what careers they would have, and even the incredible superpowers they would possess.

Using creativity and a variety of recycled materials, they designed and built their own Mars rovers, ready to explore the Red Planet!

What an amazing week of adventure as we travelled through time—from the age of dinosaurs, to medieval castles, pirate ships, early settlers, and finally into the future. Along the way, we discovered history, sparked our imaginations, and made memories that will last a lifetime.

Thank you to all of our wonderful Time Travellers for making this inaugural camp such a success. We can’t wait for our next adventure together!

Today our Time Travellers journey brought us to the time of the early settlers, where we explored the many ways Indigenous Peoples shared their knowledge and skills.

We took part in a meaningful Story Stone gratitude ritual, placing a stone in a basket while sharing something we are thankful for.

Inspired by The Three Sisters – A Haudenosaunee Story, we created beautiful mosaics celebrating the importance of corn, beans, and squash. Campers also made their own traditional cup-and-ball game, testing their coordination as they tried to catch the wooden ball in the cup.

To top off a fantastic morning, we made delicious homemade vanilla ice cream using nothing more than ice, rock salt, and a little science!

Tomorrow, it’s off to the future!

🏴‍☠️ Ahoy, mateys! Today our Time Travellers set sail for the Golden Age of Pirates! ⚓

Our young explorers discovered what life was really like for pirates and learned about legendary figures like Blackbeard and Anne Bonny. Along the way, we picked up some authentic pirate lingo—“Ahoy!”, “Weigh anchor!”, “Me hearties!”, and “Shiver me timbers!”

The fun continued as campers crafted their own wooden bead necklaces featuring a Jolly Roger medallion, designed impressive pirate ships complete with masts, flags, and crow’s nests, and even put their balance to the test by walking the plank!

Another amazing day of hands-on learning, creativity, and adventure as we travelled through time together!

Our first-ever Time Travellers Camp is officially underway, and what an adventure it has been!

On Day 1, we travelled back to the Age of the Dinosaurs, where campers learned about the three periods of the Mesozoic Era—Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous. We discovered how fossils are formed and explored the characteristics of herbivores and carnivores. Everyone created their own clay fossil pendant to take home!

Today, we leapt forward to the Middle Ages. Campers were each assigned a role in the feudal system and discovered where they belonged in medieval society by creating a living feudal pyramid. They also designed and tested their own catapults, challenging themselves to launch aluminum foil balls into a target cup.

To wrap up the day, we created our own medieval-inspired tic-tac-toe boards using black and white stones as game pieces, all tucked neatly into beautifully decorated drawstring bags. Did you know tic-tac-toe was a popular game during Medieval times?

We can’t wait to see where our time machine takes us next!

What an amazing way to wrap up our Amazing Animal Adventures camp!

Today we journeyed into the rainforest, where we explored the different layers of this incredible ecosystem and discovered the amazing animals that call each layer home.

Our day kicked off with a fun game of Rainforest Bingo, followed by creating beautiful watercolour chameleons inspired by one of the rainforest’s most fascinating creatures.

What a fantastic week of learning, creating, and exploring habitats from around the world. Thank you to all of our amazing campers for making this week so memorable. We can’t wait for our next adventure!
