The clever template lets you create gorgeous Dresden Fan blocks using 2½" fabric strips — including all those Jelly Rolls you’ve been lovingly “saving for the perfect project” in the back of your closet. 👀😂

Even better, Laura’s method pieces the fan AND the background together — no appliqué required! You can create whole, half or quarter Dresden blocks and have some serious fun playing with fabrics, scraps and precuts.

A BIG thank you to Lori and Tom's Sewing Centre for having me! 🧵✂️💜 I had so much fun chatting about some of my favourite sewing notions — and squeezing in a little ruler-grip education too! Because better grip = fewer crooked cuts… and we can ALL appreciate that! 😉😂

⏩ Fast forward to 12:30 to catch the notions segment!
