A cheaper sharpening cost doesn't mean the sharpener can properly sharpen your hair shears. You might have a professional sharpener who only has equipment to sharpen fabric scissors not hair shears. This might also be someone who sells hair shears but doesn't have the right equipment to properly sharpen the shears they sell!

Warning: If you ever see a set of Damascus Knives similar to ones in the picture that are at an very low price, Please beware this set Damascus knives test positive for LEAD. Don't do any food prep with these type of knives. If you have a similar set of knives, please get a lead testing kit and check for possible lead contamination. Food prep and sharpening of these knives can promote lead poisoning.
