Well, here's something that I kinda waited to share. Through a strange set of circumstances a couple of bikes have been donated to me. I will show them at a later date, but they are very cool bikes.
Bear with me for a moment.
Leah messaged me for a tune up on a bike that her husband built for her. Through a little conversation, I realized that I had met, talked to and actually bought a bike frame off of her husband!
He was a neighbor here in Auburn Bay! A bike guy. Leah provided me with the next words:
"Curt Lizzi, was a local, life-long bike enthusiast. Not only did he love riding, but he also loved building and repairing bikes, especially of the vintage and rare variety. Unfortunately, after a hard fought battle with brain cancer, Curt passed away in February, but I wanted to make sure the bikes he left behind would live on."
They most certainly will Leah.
In due time I will make sure these two awesome bikes are brought back to their former glory and make it into the hands of people that really appreciate them.
