I wish when i were in my 20s, I knew to build my career that does not lead to retirement.

Do you wish that you have enough saving and retire from working now ? What if you build something that you enjoy , you dont have to retire , and it does continue to give you income ? Won't you wish that you would find this out earlier?

However, there is no regrets . Life experience does compound ; if I didn't go through what I went through, I may not value the opportunity that I have now. I trust that things will work out for my good .

When you feel that you are a failure, when you start to believe what others said of you or when you blame yourself for what had happened to you:

#1 . don’t believe the lies .
You are unique and wonderfully made . You are who you are supposed to be .

#2. Create a vision of a new you.
Write down your dreams and imagine the person who you are
going to be in 10 years and start to make changes.

#3 Build your dreams on a solid rock
Know who your faith is based on and study His attributes ; surround yourself in the community where they have the same belief as you and accept you for who you are .

#4 Keep on learning and growing in mindset and attitude. I am my biggest enemy; Think Big , Focus on one thing and Act boldly. The only person you need to compare yourself with is you.

2016 I was uncertain of my future as I left the city where I stayed for the past 10 years to start a new life in a new city where I don’t know anyone.

2 things I learned in this 10 years
1. Stepping out of my comfort zone enables me to grow with an open mindset .
2. There is a God and I am not Him, He is sovereign and I am not.

I have been a pharmacist for over 30 years , and I am not afraid to admit that

1. There is this pressure to perform that even when I am exhausted , the voice in my head
tells me that I should push a little more

2. Housework is not my priority but a duty. I would choose to do anything over cleaning
the house

3. I have to push myself to go to the gym regularly though i know the benefits of exercise

4. I have a big dream that I need a bigger income , a team and a miracle to fulfill it .

5. I want to continue to work even at an old age. The goal is not to stop working but to
find something that i can do and am passionate about.

6. As an introvert , people drain my mental energy and crowd steals my peace and joy

7. I have lived and worked in 5 different cities in 3 different countries. I don't have many friends whom I can call and talk to

I am stepping into a new chapter of my life where I want to rewrite my own story and build the life what I want to have through healing, reflecting, learning and growing . If you are doing the same or thinking of doing or have been through this , follow along; Lets walk this journey together.
