My little sidekick, #1 fan, and official product tester is officially 13 today and honestly… HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?!

Watching Oliver grow into this amazing human has been one of the greatest joys of my life.

Funny, talented, determined, creative, and with the biggest heart ever — I am so unbelievably proud of him.

Help me wish him a very Happy Birthday, and if you’re not already, go give him a follow over at

Now excuse me while I emotionally process the fact that I officially have a teenager

It’s no secret… I’ve lost my crojo for amigurumi.

The last few years have been all about making to keep up—restocks, orders, deadlines. Somewhere in that, I stopped creating for me.
I wasn’t trying new things, wasn’t reaching for the yarn I wanted to use… and I started to resent it.

And I hated that.

This little hippo has been sitting in my office for ages.
Plain. Unfinished. Waiting.

Until yesterday.

She needed a dress.
A purse.
And a bow.

Now she finally feels complete.

And maybe that’s the point.

It’s okay to lose your crojo. It comes back—just not always on demand.
Sometimes you need space to find your way back.

So here’s your reminder (and mine):
Make what you want, when you want.

No pressure. No rush.
Just yarn… and joy again 🩷

I said what I said. 💁🏻‍♀️
Did some retail therapy and shopped small this very morning.
You’re welcome.

Tag—you’re it.

What started as a simple idea turned into something so much bigger 🤍

Over the last 8 weeks, this community showed up in the most incredible way.

✨ 427 12” crochet squares
✨ Almost 30 skeins of yarn
✨ A bag full of cards + letters

Every piece was collected, tidied, blocked, vacuum sealed, and packed into boxes now on their way to BC—where they’ll be turned into comfort blankets for Tumbler Ridge Secondary School.

I am beyond blown away by the kindness and generosity behind every single square.

Seeing people of all ages come together for this—even as young as 8 years old… it was pure magic.

Every stitch, every donation, every helping hand—
it all mattered.

Mary and the incredible women assembling these blankets are going to feel the love poured into this project. I just know it.

From the bottom of my heart… thank you.
You are all absolute angels 🤍

This is what community looks like… and I’m so proud to be part of it. ❤️

Went to today and you guys… 🤍
The crochet blankets had me fully in my element.

The colors? Obsessed.
The patterns? Bringing back the best kind of nostalgia.

Safe to say I was in heaven… and yes, I took way too many pictures to share 😅✨

I didn’t expect to cry making baby booties… but here we are. 🥹🤍

I’ve made more pairs than I can count —
but this one? This one was different.

Every stitch held a thought.
Every row carried love.

And I truly couldn’t hold back the tears while making them.

For my cousin — who I’ve watched grow from the sweetest little baby into the most incredible woman.

Strong. Beautiful. Resilient. Loving. Kind.

And next month… she becomes a mama to a baby boy. 💙

I am so proud of her, and I already know she’s going to be amazing.

These tiny booties hold more than yarn —
they hold love, memories, and the beginning of something so beautiful.

Part 3 and Sophie is FULLY off the rails now 💁🏻‍♀️✨

No color plan.
No rules.
Just vibes and questionable mid-round decisions.

And somehow… she’s turning into the most beautiful chaos I’ve ever made.

At this point I’m not even choosing colors —
I’m just picking up whatever makes me go “ooooh 👀” and committing.

Trust the yarn.
Trust the process.
Trust that I clearly know what I’m doing 😌
