You may not know we carry this.
And that’s partly my fault.
The RKR Commuter Backpack has actually been part of RKR for a couple of years, but I don’t think I’ve ever really shown you what makes it interesting.
So recently, I took another look.
What caught my attention wasn’t one particular feature, but how many thoughtful decisions have been brought together in one design.
It fully opens for easy packing. It has dedicated space for technology and the things that move through the day with you. It can be carried three different ways. Its shape can adjust depending on the load. And yes — there’s even an integrated USB charging port.
But perhaps what I appreciate most is the thinking behind all of it.
It’s modern and minimal, but also remarkably practical. Details are there because they make the backpack work better, not simply because there are more features to list.

If we can’t simplify what we carry, perhaps we can simplify how we carry it.
