Changes to Good Neighbour are coming this September! ➡️
After 2 years, Good Neighbour will be wrapping up our time at the Central Outreach Hub and pivoting to a pop-up model throughout the city. This will help us bring clothing, essential items and support to more low income folks directly where they live.
Our last day at The Hub will be September 1, 2026.
We’re grateful to the Central Outreach Hub and Central United Church for welcoming us when we needed a place to land. They will continue to collect donations and distribute items during their business hours.
A huge thank you to all of our volunteers and donors! With your support, we have been able to build community care and distribute clothing, toiletries, and warm meals to all our neighbours regardless of income for the last 5 years.
WHAT’S NEXT?
We will continue to provide consistent, dignified access to essential items and support our neighbours through pop-ups at organizations and in communities around the city.
Our programming, like tutoring, financial literacy, civic education and advocacy, health workshops and fun community events will continue.

HOW CAN YOU KEEP SUPPORTING US?
1. Host a donation drive. We’ll need clothing, accessories and toiletries more than ever as we spread out across the city. Contact us for signage and info!
2. Invite us to pop-up at your building, organization, or in your community.
3. Collaborate with us to host an event or program with your school, club, or group.
4. Donate monetary funds to help us buy a truck and supplies for our new pop-up model.
5. Shop at our fundraiser thrift store, Good Thrift.
6. Tell people about us and keep being a good neighbour 🙂
