TELUS commits $2 million to support B.C. wildfire relief

As wildfires continue to affect communities across British Columbia, TELUS is committing $2 million in connectivity support, customer bill relief and donations to organizations assisting those impacted.

Support includes:

• An automatic 50 GB data top-up for eligible evacuated TELUS and Koodo post-paid mobility customers
• Automatic bill credits for eligible evacuated TELUS Home Services customers
• Additional billing support for customers facing structural damage or extended displacement
• Emergency supplies and connectivity support at evacuation centres
• Funding for affected First Nations and local relief organizations
• Free, confidential support through the TELUS Health Community Crisis Support Line at 1-844-751-2133

Evacuated customers requiring assistance with their TELUS services or re-entry plans can call 1-855-889-7233.

Customers can also support wildfire relief by texting DONATE to 41010 to make a $20 donation through the TELUS Friendly Future Foundation. TELUS Rewards points can also be redeemed toward a donation.
