Phoenix Comics opened its NW location in November 1994, and since then it has grown into one of the top stores in Western Canada. Phoenix Comics NW carries thousands of graphic novels of all genres, from Sandman and Maus to Spider-man and Batman to Y the Last Man and Walking Dead. We also specialize in Manga, and no-one in the city has a better selection. Our goal is to have every in print volume

of every title in stock, every day. We also have thousands of out of print volumes. The NW store is also the city's number one source for Magic the Gathering. We have everything for the Magic player, from the city's best selection of singles to the latest booster packs and everything in between. We also run weekly tournaments for Magic the Gathering and other games such as Hero-Clix. Don't forget our other games such as Dungeons and Dragons, and we also carry a complete line of supplies for both your gaming and comic collecting needs! Open until 10:00pm Monday to Saturday, and 7:00pm on Sundays!

It's Wednesday and that means more new comics! While smaller than the last couple weeks there are still plenty of great new series. Join us for the start of a new overarching story in Queen in Black #1, Queen in Black: Hela #1 and Queen in Black: Defenders of Light and Dark. There's also Justice League Knight Vision Special, What If... Spider-Man #1, Rocket Raccoon: Rocket Rewind, and many more! Enjoy!

PS: We are on a bit of a bad streak with mass damages, but unfortunately all copies of Conan the Barbarian #33 cover A arrived damaged. A free copy will be added to each pull when replacements arrive. Also, all copies of Bishop #2 cover were shorted. Replacements should also be on the way.

PS: Like last week, all copies of Marc Spector Moon Knight #6 cover A arrived with bad spine creases. As it was every copy, they have still been added to files and are on the shelf. Any file who purchases a copy will get a replacement or store credit once the status of the replacements is confirmed.

They have still been added to files; a free replacement copy will hopefully be added to all files that purchased copies in a few weeks. In the case that the replacements are backordered, a store credit refund will be added to your account.

It's Canada Day, but that doesn't mean there aren't new comics! While smaller that most weeks we still have plenty of great titles including Batman #11, Absolute Martian Manhunter and Green Lantern, Deadman #2, and many more! We are open for our regular hours (9:30am to 10pm) so come by and check them out!

Also just a heads up, we received an abnormal amount of damaged comics from Penguin (Marvel, Dark Horse) this week. If you are missing a Marvel title from your file that is likely the reason. Replacements are already on the way. You can check at the front counter for the full list of damaged titles or if you have any other questions!
