Yeahhhh team! How lucky that I've managed to have these two come back for their 4th year working with North Campervans!!?? AND somehow convinced them to play beach vball. It's pretty darn lucky to find good help- and even better when they're good and such a joy to have around🥰🥰
Thanks to the CBVA for letting us be part of such a rad league. Very very sad to have the season all done tonight😭

Friday: D - Hey! Want to hike the Onion on Monday? J - Sure! Want to camp the night before? D-Sure!
Saturday: Look for campsites near Bow Lake- everything is booked. Sign up for notifications. Saturday afternoon - 2 notifications in my inbox and we went with Silverhorn Creek.
Sunday - left by 5pm. Rolled into camp around 8pm. Supper, crib games x2, get fed some delicious chicken wings by our neighbors and goodnight!
Monday - breakfast and "wow it's beautiful", 9am leave campsite, 930am park at Bow Lake and start hike. For the next 7 hours J - " these views are ridiculous" on repeat😍. 1pm enjoying the summit🤯🤯, 430pm quick swim in Bow Lake to wrap an awesome day up, 5pm back on the road to home.

Thanks to Steph and Isiah for taking care of business at the office so I could getaway to put the SUV Camper through it's paces while getting in some recon on an area that so many of our customers frequent. Team work makes the dream work🙌

More to come but the general summary was:
1)The area is ridiculously beautiful.
2)The notifications option on the Parks Canada booking system is awesome.
3)That having your wheels, kitchen and bed all in a compact unit is still one of my favorite ways to travel.
4)We are pretty darn lucky!

For those of you needing a sales pitch on why fall camping/ hiking roadtrips are AWESOME!😜

I'm currently loving this summer weather BUT your girl turns into a water baby with these temperatures🤷‍♀️ Fall though? Sign me up for all the hikes🙌🙌 I say it every year- but the lack of mosquitoes, crowds, and cooler temps... yesssss please!

You can experience all sorts of weather while on your camping roadtrip - in particular in the mountains.
My puffy jacket, waterproof hikers and shell jacket, and a buff are part of my kit year around. How about you?

Beauty of a ride into Moraine Lake yesterday!! If anyone is wanting in on the fun - you have until June 1st to grab a bike and ride into the lake to take it all in without the crowds😍😍
Lots of snow to melt yet above the lake and some ice still on the water etc - but I'd give it a 10 out of 10 for adventure day!!
Things to keep in mind:
1) Bike rack add on available with our rentals
2) Bike rentals are available at on Lake Louise, and several different spots in Banff and Canmore.
3) Alternative rides are: Highway 1A between Johnson Canyon and Banff (is open for biking only until June 25). The pathway between Banff and Canmore anytime of the year.
