Dear Gentle Villagers, as some of you may already know, our society has been working for several years to find a new location. We've held surveys; we’ve had focus groups; and we’ve had strategic planning sessions—and now we are so pleased to tell you that we will soon be moving to a new store location this fall!
There is much to look forward to, but we need your help. Please help us spread the word!
Our new location is in trendy and walkable Inglewood, which means we will have the opportunity to grow our community of friends of fair trade. Our space is going to be smaller, but won't be any less mighty. Unlike our current location, where all our stock is divided on two floors—and particularly brutal for anyone with achy knees—everything will be on one level!
But good things take time, so we’re not moving out of our current location for a few months yet. Before we move, we want to say a proper goodbye to 220 Crowchild Trail NW after more than 40 years of memories here. That’s why we’ll be hosting fun events in the coming months leading up to our move—so we can come together to celebrate everything we’ve achieved: with you, our Villagers, with our staff and volunteers, and the incredible community that never fails to show up for us each year.
We’re so excited for this move. We look forward to welcoming our regulars to the new space, and we’re eager to have new Villagers join us as they discover our store.
Tell your friends and family. Especially if you know anyone who lives in Inglewood who hasn’t been to our store. We’d love to welcome them!
