All good things must come to an end. It's been a amazing 20+ years serving and educating Calgary's Cannabis Community. Unfortunately, it is with a heavy heart that I must inform my wonderful customers/friends that Grassroots will be closing it's doors this March.

From today until then we will be offering 30-50% on everything in store. Please help me find homes for all of our groovy gear by spreading the word about our liquidation blowout sale. Thank you all, for the support and great interactions you've given us over the years.

Christmas is almost here!

We are very grateful to the numerous donors that have helped us get over 20 bags of clothing to help our community! A special thank you to Trend Calgary for their generous contribution of clothing that will go to several different charities, and community organizations! We are happy to announce that we are Half way to our goal of 50 pairs of PJS, But still a bit more to go!! We have updated our wish list so have a peek and see if there is anything you are able to donate. ** indicates MOST NEEDED**

We are doing another drive to provide meals and some necessary personal items to our most vulnerable people. Grassroots and The Giving Garden will be Co-hosting along with YYCgivesback, the annual Christmas Fiesta for the homeless (around 200 people) on Saturday December 21. We need volunteers to cook food (we will provide) and donors/ sponsors of the dinner items listen below. There is also a volunteer sign up sheet online that will be sent to anyone interested in cooking and/or serving.
We have also set a goal of raising enough money or donations of 50 pairs of pajamas for the Rowan House Emergency Shelter for Christmas. We are happy to except gift cards, cash, bottles, and NEW pajamas in women’s, or children’s in all sizes.
If you are able to provide any of the following items for our food and care item drive, Please contact us for pick up and drop off locations. *pick up options are limited as we do not have very many drivers, but we will do our best to accommodate.

Here at Grassroots, we are proud to support local charities, organizations, and initiatives. As we move into the colder months, we like to focus on obtaining and distributing necessities for our vulnerable folks. This is a very hard time of year for many, especial those facing homelessness. Please donate if you can, and share to help raise awareness!
