Maria's Fine Wines & Spirits Maria Horvath is a Hungarian immigrant with 18 years of experience owning/operating Athlone Liquor Store, the largest wine store in Edmonton.

It is our mission to exceed the expectations of our customers by offering only the best products available to us with the highest level of service and expertise. Five years ago, She was driving in the fast growing downtown Calgary and saw a ”for lease” sign in the up and coming uptown downtown area. ams for another fine wine establishment.She set about collecting wines from around the world, designed the interior to her specifications and Maria’s Fine Wines and spirits opened in October 2004.
