k candy for buffets at weddings, fundraisers and charitable events. We have had wedding photos taken amongst the candy in our store and had a children's birthday party where the guests ran around filling up their own goodie bags. The most fun the children (and we) had was watching the children adding up their candy along the way and trying to stay on budget. The Candy Kid started at the Calgary Farmers Market in Currie Barracks in 2004. It became a staple of the market and had many loyal followers who came in looking for their fix of licorice or fudge. The original owner, Ian Ferguson is now in his first year of medical school at the University of British Columbia and his mom Heather is now managing the store and using some of the proceeds to put her son through school. It truly takes a community to raise a child and we appreciate your contribution!

The Kensington Artisan Market is pleased to announce the arrival of Annie's Closet on the entire second floor of our artisan market. There is an ecclectic collection of vintage tins, men's messenger bags and quad milled soap from France PLUS and beautiful selection of girls dresses. Hello friends, I finished figuring out the layout for the new Kensington Indoor Festival Market and managed to reduce the lease cost substantially!! Lease rates now range from $371 to $1200 per month!! Costs include utilities, wifi, and storage. Check the layout and please share with your friends so I can get the word out. Having an indoor Festival Market in Kensington would be terrific! We're hoping to open November 1 and need help finding vendors on such short notice. Thanks in advance.

Hello Friends! I'm reconfiguring my store at 225 10th Street NW in Calgary and turning it into a Kensington Indoor Festival Market. (like a mini Farmer's Market)
Hoping to open November 1 pending approvals and vendors who want to join. Thanks everyone for your love of our store!! I know many people are sad we are closing and everyone can help support us by advertising the sale on social media!! We need to be out including oak shelving, fixtures tin-like ceiling and barnwood laminate flooring by June 1!! Our hours are Mon to Thurs 12 - 8pm and Fri to Sun 10 - 8pm.
