🌟 Club 55+ Wind-Up Celebration!
A quick reminder to all our Club 55+ league members: Tomorrow is the big day! We’ll be kicking off our end-of-season wind-up with lunch starting at 11:00 AM. We can’t wait to celebrate a great year with all of you!

To our public bowlers:
Because our league will be utilizing the full house for their celebration, we will have no lanes available for public bowling until 3:00 PM.

We recommend booking ahead if you're planning to join us later in the afternoon. See you then! 🎳✨

🌸 Happy Mother’s Day!
We are so excited to celebrate all the amazing moms tomorrow! To make the day extra special, we are offering Free Shoe Rentals for all Moms all day long (and yes, that includes moms signed up with the Kids Bowl Free program!).

A Quick Travel Note:
If you’re planning to join us earlier in the day, please give yourself some extra time to access the mall. Clean-up may still be underway from The Annual Mother’s Day Run, Walk and Wheel taking place at the other end of the property.

🎳 Youth League Party & Public Bowling Update
Our YBC Wind-Up Party is happening tomorrow! Because our youth bowlers are taking over the house to celebrate their season, we will have no lanes available for public bowling until 2:00 PM.

Spaces are filling up incredibly fast! If you are looking to hit the lanes later in the afternoon, please note that 4:15 PM is currently our earliest available reservation slot.

Our Annual Chinook Bowladrome Golf Tournament is sneaking up fast! We’re heading to The Track in Langdon on Saturday, June 27, and we want to see you there.
All proceeds go directly toward supporting our YBC (Youth Bowling league), helping our young athletes develop their skills and enjoy the sport they love. 🎳

🎳 It’s Official: Kids Bowl Free 2026 is Live!

The wait is finally over! Starting today, May 1st, your kids can hit the lanes and work on those strikes all summer long without breaking the bank.

📝 The Details for Chinook Bowladrome:
The Deal: Registered kids get 2 FREE games every single day all summer long.
Who can play: For kids ages 5–15
Where to sign up: Head over to KidsBowlFree.com/chinook
The Fine Print: Shoe rentals aren't included

🕒 When You Can Bowl:
Make sure to plan your visit during our designated KBF hours:
Monday – Saturday: Open until 7:00 PM
Sunday: Open until 4:00 PM

💡 Pro-Tips for Parents:
The Family Pass: If you want to join in on the fun, look into the Family Pass during registration. It’s a one-time fee that lets up to 4 adults bowl 2 games a day right alongside the kids.
Check the App: Skip the printer! You can pull up your weekly coupons directly on your phone at the front desk.
Call Ahead: Even though the program starts today, lane availability varies.

⚠️ IMPORTANT PARKING UPDATE: Spring League Bowlers

If you are coming in for Spring League tonight or tomorrow, please take note!

Enmax construction is currently underway, which means there will be limited access to our main parking lot. To ensure you don't miss your practice balls, please give yourself an extra 10–15 minutes to find a spot.

🚗 Pro-Tip: We highly recommend using the South Parkade of the mall. It’s the closest alternative to the center and usually the easiest place to find a stall during construction.

Starting May 1st, Kids Bowl Free officially returns—and we are less than one week away! 🗓️

Register your kids now at www.kidsbowlfree.com/chinook to receive 2 FREE games every day all the way until August 31st. It’s the perfect way to keep the kids active and entertained all summer long.

A few quick house rules to keep in mind:
Eligibility: Open to kids ages 5–15.
Availability: Monday–Saturday from open until 7:00 PM, and Sundays from open until 4:00 PM.
Bumpers: Available upon request for children ages 9 and under.
Food: We kindly request no outside food or drink be brought into the center.
Equipment: Please note that standard shoe rental rates still apply.

Volunteer Appreciation - Chinook's Legend, Bob Stirling!

Bob has been a coach at Chinook Bowladrome for many, many years. His list of accomplishments is long as a Teaching Master Bowler and Coach. He has coached numerous teams, both youth and adult, at Zones, Provincials & Nationals. Bob has taken on the task of running "Bowl Better Clinics" for the past 11 plus years. This has been a huge asset in helping to advance the skills of many new league bowlers, which is helping retain them and enable them to improve and enjoy our sport. His knowledge, personality, care, and commitment to us here at Chinook, and other centres across Alberta, is acknowledged by many! He is a "Chinook Legend" in our eyes and we appreciate the opportunity to highlight a very much appreciated person in our bowling community!
