Homemade super-soft fleece neck gaiters/warmers for children, teens, adults and even pets!
These are an excellent replacement for the scarf. Slip on and off over the head. It can also be pulled up over the mouth to keep out the wind.
Sizing- I would suggest measuring around the forehead as you want the neck warmer to go over the head. Neck warmers have approx 1/4 - 1/2 inch stretch to them. Some people like to wear tight others like them loose.
