If youāre looking for a floor that feels natural, understated and design-forward, an ultra-matte finish can be a great choice for both residential and commercial spaces.
Choose ultra-matte when you want to:
ā Create a more natural wood look
A low-sheen finish reduces surface reflection, allowing the grain, texture and colour of the floor to take centre stage.
ā Keep an open-concept home feeling calm and cohesive
Without excess shine competing with your finishes and furnishings, ultra-matte flooring creates a softer foundation throughout the space.
ā Complement modern, organic or minimalist interiors
Ultra-matte finishes pair especially well with natural materials, warm neutrals and spaces where texture is doing the heavy lifting.
ā Design a commercial space that feels less ācommercialā
Hospitality, retail, office and other client-facing environments can use ultra-matte flooring to create a warmer, more residential feel.
ā Minimize visible glare from natural and artificial light
In bright rooms or spaces with large windows, a lower-sheen surface can help reduce the reflective appearance you get from glossier finishes.
