A romantic garden wedding filled with flowers from ceremony to reception.

Soft blush, ivory and touches of blue were carried throughout the day — from the bridal party flowers and ceremony aisle to the floral-covered gazebo and reception centrepieces.

One of our favourite parts of a full wedding design is seeing everything come together as one story, with each floral detail connecting one part of the celebration to the next.

And that first look at the finished reception? That reaction says everything. 🤍

Mountain weddings don’t need to compete with the view.

For this ceremony at Hotel Malcolm, we worked with the landscape rather than against it — soft blush, dusty rose and cream flowers, layered greenery and an asymmetrical floral installation against the dark timber arch.

The floral story continued down the aisle with garden-style arrangements, rose petals and lanterns, creating a ceremony that felt romantic, abundant and completely at home in its surroundings.

And, of course, a cascading bouquet to bring it all together.

Would a floral designer choose the same wedding flowers five years later?

I had that thought recently.
If I were getting married today, after another five years of designing weddings, seeing new trends come and go and working with so many different flowers — what would I choose?

So I decided to play.
I took the feeling of my own wedding and then used AI to help me visualize two completely different directions I would be excited to explore today.
One went green, textural and wildly organic.
The other went deep into burgundy and hot pink, with fruit, crystal, candlelight and unapologetic drama.

They look completely different from each other — and different from my wedding.

And yet, looking at all three together, I realized they really aren’t that different at all.
Apparently I’m a romantic maximalist.

Give me abundance, texture, movement, atmosphere and a little drama, and I’m happy. The palette may change. The flowers may change. But the instinct behind the design hasn’t gone anywhere.

Maybe that’s what personal style actually is.

Corporate event flowers in Calgary can do more than simply match the brand colours.

For this Mastercard Economics Institute event, the florals were designed to feel intentional within the space — sculptural, contemporary and connected to the brand without becoming overly literal.

From statement pieces to smaller designs placed throughout the tables, each arrangement had its own role while remaining part of one cohesive floral direction.

Because successful event florals aren’t just about what goes into the vase. They’re about understanding the room, the brand and the experience being created.

Not every bridal bouquet needs to be white. 🤍🤍

Soft blue hyacinths, delicate orchids, cascading textures, and strands of pearls came together to create a bouquet that felt both timeless and unexpected.

While white will always be a classic choice, colour can add personality, depth, and a sense of individuality without sacrificing elegance.

For couples who want their wedding flowers to feel uniquely their own, sometimes the most memorable designs are the ones that step just slightly outside tradition.
