In a wee little basement in the home of Christina Marcano. Christina started in the clothing business over ten years ago when she co-founded an active wear company called Skyler Clothing. Skyler grew quickly and by 2008 they had three stores over two-hundred wholesale accounts and regular appearances on the Shopping Channel and then…the recession hit. The company started to spiral out of control a

nd as a last ditch effort Christina went to pitch her case on CBC’s the Dragons Den. The response was phenomenal. She received an outpouring of support but after a bit of soul searching she realized Skyler wasn’t her true dream. She closed Skyler down and headed back to her basement where she got to work building her true dream - Silver Icing. An amazing brand that offers comfy chic clothing that won’t break the bank. In 2013 Silver Icing launched and is now a thriving online shop with a network of independent stylists. As a young mom, Christina knew how important a work life balance is. She was tired of driving 2 hours a day back and forth from work. She loved being able to make her kids lunch or take them to a park on a sunny afternoon. Being a stay at home working mom was exactly what her family needed and it is from this experience that she committed to building a company that other moms and women could be a part of. Lyvia's Wrapped Up in Love Scarf (Blue Chevron) / Before You Go Scarf (Rust Polka Dot) Review: These are very cute accessories, perfect for spring! These scarves are lightweight, definitely not bulky at all and have little frayed edges. I love wearing these under jackets exactly like this one or with cardigans. Something with an open closure where I'm looking for a little more warmth. They also look so cute tied around a bag!

Lyvia's Go With the Faux Jacket Review: First thing's first, congrats to Tesa Steinke, the first person to enter this name into last week's Name It to Win It Contest! We realize there were a number of entries with this suggestion but it was by far our favourite so we went with who entered it FIRST!

As for the fit and feel of this piece, it's so soft and perfect for transitioning as it's not too thick and heavy. It has faux leather and faux suede detailing so there's a bit of unique contrast which I love. The drapey collar front adds a nice feminine touch to this piece as well. Because of its open closure, it almost begs to be paired with a scarf like these! I am wearing the size small and love the all-around fit and feel, making this piece true to size!

Kim's Go With the Faux Jacket Review: This is such a cute little transitional jacket to add to your wardrobe! It's lightweight, soft and pairs rather perfectly with these scarves. It's fully lined with what feels like a light microsuede so it's quite soft and still offers a bit of warmth! I am wearing the size small and it fits me perfectly.

As for the fit of this shirt, we've had it before. It's the same body and style as the "Choose Kind Top". It's an off-the-shoulder, french terry-like cotton material but can still be worn on the shoulder as a boatneck. It's a light to medium weight, soft fabric with a banded hem along the bottom. These tops look great with a sports bra peeking out as well! I am wearing a sample size medium and I love the fit, however, I do own a small from the launch a few years ago and like that fit too. If you want it more off the shoulder, you can size up like I have here in these photos.

It features a slightly longer style than some of our other blazers with a full long sleeve. The material is slightly textured but very soft inside. I am wearing the size S and I love the fit!

Kim’s Overnight Success Shoes Review: The flats of my dreams are here!!!!!! They are essentially exactly like the Poised for Success Shoes but the Taxi Version. The other ones were Beast. These are so comfy and a little lighter in weight than the Beast version. I love the sophisticated look they give off when wearing them! They’re super comfy and the top goes far enough up the foot that you can easily wear flat socks with them if you wish. I am wearing the sample 9 and they are too big so I will be sticking with my true size 8 in these!

Kim's Keep It Simple Top Review: For the longest time I thought these tops were far too long to fit me in a way I felt comfortable in. I'm only 5'4, they're too long! FALSE! I have come to love of these Zenana tops! The length provides such versatility. They can be tucked, knotted or worn straight down and all ways look just as good. If you are short, try wearing them with leggings and sneakers. It almost resembles a t-shirt tunic look. Super cute! The material is so soft and stretchy, it's worth it to play around a bit with it! Allison's Keep It Simple Top Review: This top needs no introduction, the beloved Keep It Simple is the perfect staple for every wardrobe! Kim's Rainbow Road Sweater Review: This sweater is so soft and stretchy, it's amazing! It feels just like the Soft & Sweet Sweater for comparison. It's a lighter weight sweater with this cute almost rainbow-like pattern across the front. This will be a great transitional piece as it's light but still has that fuzzy sweater feel and long sleeves to keep you a bit warmer. I am wearing the size small and it's a great fit. I do feel confident I'd like a size up for a slightly more relaxed fit as well. Just depends on how you want it to fit!

Kim's Jeans Come True Skirt Review: Congratulations to Amy Moore who entered this name in last week's Spotlight and won! Such a cute play on words! In regards to the fit of this skirt, I do suggest sizing up unless you really don't have a bum. The size small was far too fitted across to b***y for me so I sized up to a medium and loved the fit! The skirt has a true denim feel with stretch and a unique slightly frayed edge. I love the look of this with sneakers or even little boots. This skirt also looks amazing with leggings as styled in last week's Spotlight! This is a total home run!

Kim's Double the Fun Leo Scarf Review: Oh I love a good scarf and let me tell you, this leopard one is speaking to me! It's a crinkled fabric with a slightly frayed edge. It's such an easy spring accessory as it's nice and lightweight and not bulky. It can easily be worn as a cute little shawl as well.

Kim's Cruise Control 2.0 Leggings Review: I love everything about these pants! They're super comfy and seriously spice up any look! They have a soft finish and are super stretchy. The waistband is nice and high and smooth so they don't create any lines under your shirt. Everyone needs a pair of these!! I am in the size small and they fit great.

Kim's Downtown District Jacket Review: This is kind of a mix between a long blazer and a springy style jacket. Nevertheless, it's AMAZING! The fabric is lighter weight but I wouldn't call it super thin. It has a slightly textured feel to it and it drapes beautifully! The collar is almost floppy in a really good way. It has pockets but they do come stitched so beware you'll have to carefully cut the threads with scissors to open them up.

Lyvia's Long Range Top Review: This is such a fantastic piece to layer with. I am wearing the size small in these photos and I feel that is the perfect size to layer with. I do feel I could comfortably size up to a medium if I were to wear these on their own. The material is the same as a Long Shot so you know they are stretchy and soft. I really love the deep round neckline on these as well. These are total closet staples!

Lyvia's Catch Me if You Can Bucket Hat / Wild Adventure Bucket Hat Reviews: I absolutely love these bucket hats! As soon as I saw them come through our doors I knew the leopard print one was going to be mine! I come from sunny Brazil so hats are must-have accessories. These are lightweight and have a slight canvas feel. They're flexible and definitely keep the sun off your face.

Lyvia's Totally Casual Overalls Review: I don't own a pair of overalls but that is about to change. I love the laid back, casual vibe these give off. I definitely do recommend sizing up in these as the small were far too tight around my hips and bum. I am wearing the size medium and love the fit. Kim's City Skyline Pants Review: These pants are simply amazing! They almost feel like the Sophistication Pants or the Align Pants in that they're a medium weight, dressy feeling fabric with tons of stretch. These are slightly more fitted though but I love them. They have pockets, a functional drawstring and a simple straight leg. I love that they can be worn dressy or casual. Pair them with a sneaker and cuff them for a cute and casual look! I'm wearing the size small and like the fit but also feel the medium would work too. If you want them slightly relaxed, feel free to size up.

They're a slightly relaxed fitting tee with a bit of a wider body. I love them! So comfy without looking oversized. The cotton material is so luxurious too and the message is amazing. I am wearing the S/M and I love the comfortable fit.
