Meet the Humans behind the Market 🌸

Meet founder of the Ogden market and

“ I never expected to start a market in our community. I saw people struggling disability, tax credits, with barely making it every month financially, and yet so creative! I wanted to help people who have business ideas get their businesses launched, and a platform to be able to sell their products to create sustainability and a difference for their families.

I would’ve never expected this to become something so beautiful like this. Adding on the dream Academy for business training has been so rewarding. This has been one of the most meaningful volunteer opportunities I’ve been a part of in a long time. It really is making a difference in individual’s lives and that means a lot.

The people who are a part of our market are passionate, resilient souls, and I’m so glad we stepped out to venture into what this could become.”

Meet the Humans Behind the Market 🌟

Paije Hartwick from is our Live Music Coordinator 🙌🏻

“I’ve lived in many places throughout my life but what makes Ogden special to me is the small town vibe within the big city. Beautiful bungalows, big trees, pathways and little parks, wildlife too! Family run restaurants, groceries and small businesses including church groups and biker groups. Nothing looks the same and the people feel like ‘home’, even if you’re lost. I appreciate the friendliness and meeting people who live, work and volunteer in our community. Some of my best friends live here!

I got involved with the Ogden Market as the Music Coordinator from early conception, due to my professional expertise. My role is to find and go through an entertainers promotional material to decide if they would be appropriate for the market. I enjoy volunteering and serving my community.

People ask if it’s proper to tip the musician and the answer is yes, it’s socially acceptable indoors and appreciated by ALL artists. In the future I will have a big jar there dedicated to the musicians. Please stop by the market to enjoy the music and all the community has to offer.”

Tonight at our Dream Academy for vendors, we taught vendors how to share their story during the market and on social media in ways that connect people to what they are selling in a deeper way. We love hearing all the incredible reasons why they’ve started their businesses!

We are not just a market. We are building a local economy. And we are committed to helping people get their vendor business off the ground. 🌟
