Make 9 #6 is finished!
My Donny shirt was finished just in time to debut at the Rummage Sale (did you spot it in last week's reel?) but now it's ready for it's close up.
This shirt was meant to be a super quick and easy sew, but after unpicking and re-doing the collar 4 times it was turning into a bit more of an ordeal than expected. I'm going to blame the time crunch for my woes, because the shirt is so cute and the pattern is great! I followed the Youtube instructions and it's so easy to follow along visually rather than reading a pattern booklet.
It's a nice reminder to slow down and take care with your sewing projects. No fast fashion sewing here! Since this fabric was from the rummage sale, I'm sharing some of my top picks if you're in the market for a new pop over camp shirt. Flannel, poplin, or quilting cotton, there's lots of fabric options for the Donny!
