Noodle Tops I am a work from home mom and grandmother who loves creating things, so I knit, crochet, quilt and s I also have a Knitting for Charity Project.

I learned to crochet, sew and knit when I was really young, but didn't do much during the years I was raising my family. While recovering from an illness I took up knitting again, and made many, many dishcloths. Then one day my son and daughter in law announced that I would soon be a grandmother...

ring “Ruth you should sell these”. Then one day my Daughter in law told me she even had a name for me - “Noodle Tops” So that's how Noodle Tops was born. Originally it was just supposed to be “Hats and other handmade gifts for baby”, but I have made so many hats, baby blankets, had custom orders for afghans and quilts, that “Hats and other handmade gifts for all ages” is a better description. I believe that patterns and recipes are only guidelines, so I don't claim that anything I make is an original idea, but was probably inspired by something I saw somewhere. I make Preemie hats to donate to Peter Lougheed NICU. My daughter spent 16 weeks in NICU when she was born, so now I have time to give back
