Your next kayak starts here. Orders for , , and .global close October 31 for spring 2027 delivery.

For Valley and Rockpool, we can help you choose from the full model range and available constructions, then work through colours, graphics and custom options with the factory. Whether you have every detail planned or are still figuring out which boat suits your paddling, let’s talk.

Think SRF pre-orders are $4,995 + tax, down from the regular $5,495 - a $500 saving. Choose your deck, seam and coaming colours, a clear carbon/kevlar weave or white gelcoat hull, and a skeg or no-skeg setup.

A 50% deposit confirms Valley and Rockpool orders, with the balance due when your boat is built and ready to ship. Think orders require a 30% deposit, with the balance due on delivery.

Come by the shop in Campbell River, send us a message, or email [email protected]. Get in touch before the last few days of October so we have time to work through your options!

A little summer paddling has made its way into Paddle BC’s latest Campbell River itinerary!

Earlier this summer, we had the pleasure of taking their crew out to explore the Campbell River Estuary. It’s lovely to see that day become part of a three-day paddling road trip - and to find Creek2Coast featured on Day 2.

If you’re planning a visit, or have friends coming to town who’d love some time on the water, have a look. There’s plenty of reason to bring a paddle to Campbell River.

Thanks to Paddle BC for including us and helping share this corner of Vancouver Island.

Here’s the full itinerary: https://paddlebc.ca/itinerary/campbell-river-road-trip-a-3-day-paddle-itinerary/

Over 3 days, we explore Campbell River's evolving food scene, lively waterfront, forest trails and remarkably diverse paddling environments.

Taking care of your paddling starts off the water.

We’re teaming up with CR Flow Studio to bring Find Your Edge: Yoga for Kayakers to the Shipyard, taught by Flow instructor Lara.

Join us for an hour of yoga designed with paddlers in mind, with attention to shoulders, back, hips, and core. It’s a chance to make time for your body, enjoy some movement, and connect with other people who love being on the water.

This is the first of what we hope will become a monthly gathering - another way to bring the paddling community together here at Creek2Coast.

📍 The Shipyard · 871C Island Hwy, Campbell River

A few of our fleet boats are looking for new homes.

We’re refreshing the Creek2Coast kayak fleet for next season, so a selection of our Valley Sea Kayaks are now available for purchase. These are the boats we’ve been using for lessons, demos, and guided trips this year. Some joined the fleet recently; others have 2 seasons behind them.

We’re also transitioning some of our instructional gear and have lightly used NRS Ambient PFDs and HIKO SPORT Camel 87 sprayskirts available. Both have only seen a handful of days on the water and are in excellent condition.

The kayaks are listed on our website with their model years and prices. They’re sold as is, and we're happy to walk you through the condition of a particular boat, send more photos, or arrange a time to see it at the shop.

If you’ve been thinking about getting a high performance plastic sea kayak - or need to round out your kit - send us a message and we’ll help you figure out what might fit.

Creek2Coast Paddlesports | Kayaking Campbell River will be closed today, September 30, in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

We’re closing the shop so that we can take part in today’s ceremonies in downtown Campbell River, to honour the children who were taken and never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, their families, and the generations who continue to carry their impacts.

As paddlers, we also recognize that our relationship with these waters has roots far deeper than the modern sport of kayaking. Indigenous peoples have travelled, harvested, traded, gathered and maintained relationships across these waterways by canoe since time immemorial. Here in Campbell River, we paddle within the territories and waterways of the Laichwiltach peoples.

Today is an opportunity to listen, learn, remember, and show up.

For those in Campbell River who would like to participate, today’s community events begin with a gathering at Spirit Square at 11:00 AM, followed by a community march to the Kwanwatsi Big House, where ceremonies, a community lunch, the honouring of Survivors, traditional dances and closing speeches will take place through the afternoon. A conversation with Gwawaenuk First Nation Hereditary Chief Robert Joseph follows at the Tidemark Theatre at 4:00 PM.

We encourage our friends, customers and fellow paddlers to join us downtown today if you’re able.

Curious about river kayaking, but not quite ready to point a boat downstream?

Our first Paddle Canada Flatwater River Kayak Skills course is coming up on October 24. We’ll spend the day on calm water getting comfortable in a river kayak: finding your balance, working on strokes and edging, and practicing wet exits and rescues. There’s no current or whitewater on this course, and you don’t need a previous kayaking certification to join.

It’s a chance to build the basics before moving on to our Beginner River course, where we take those skills into current.

We’ll meet at Tyee Spit in Campbell River. The course is $190, with the kayak and paddling gear provided. You’ll need a wetsuit or drysuit for the day; drysuit rentals are available for $50 plus tax.

There are six spots available. Details and registration are here: https://c2cpaddlesports.com/products/paddle-canada-flatwater-river-kayak-skills?variant=50088547025034, or send us a message if you’re wondering whether it’s the right starting point for you.

That kayak you’ve been meaning to fix? Fall is a good time to bring it in.

These photos are from a repair we worked on earlier this season. Between trips and courses, we've also been helping paddlers deal with cracked hulls, damaged fittings, worn deck lines and bungee, and the other little jobs that are easy to put off while the weather’s good.

Creek2Coast is taking on kayak and paddling gear repairs through the fall and winter. If something on your boat needs attention, your gaskets need replacing, or even if you just need advice on a repair, send us a few photos or bring it by the shop in Campbell River. We’ll have a look, talk through the options, and give you an estimate before starting work.

Better to sort it out now than discover it on the first good paddling day next spring.

Paddle the Passage is back ❤️

Last Saturday, 12 paddlers pushed off from Campbell River and made the crossing together to Cape Mudge - bringing back a paddling tradition that has connected communities on both sides of Discovery Passage for years. And what a day we got for it.

The paddle over couldn't have been much better: sunshine, warm weather, glassy water, almost no wind and not a vessel in sight. About 30 minutes after leaving Campbell River, we were carrying our boats up the beach at Cape Mudge.

There, we were welcomed by Tanille Johnson of the We Wai Kai Nation, who shared some of the history and significance of Paddle the Passage with us, provided snacks for a hungry group of paddlers, and reminded us why bringing this event back was about much more than simply crossing a stretch of water.

The Passage had a little more excitement waiting for us on the way home. After holding up for a couple of tug-and-barge combinations to pass, we found ourselves sitting together in our kayaks while a group of Bigg's killer whales breached, played and hunted in front of us.

A huge thank you to Tanille and the We Wai Kai Nation for welcoming us, to Reuben and Wild Waterways Adventures for providing on-water safety support, to the Canadian Coast Guard for keeping a watchful eye on the crossing, and to our pod leaders and everyone else who helped make the day happen.

And, of course, thank you to the paddlers who took a chance on the first Paddle the Passage under ' organization and joined us on the water.

This year was intentionally small. We learned a lot, and we're already thinking about how to make Paddle the Passage bigger and better next year - and hopefully bring some of the canoe families back onto the water with us.

For now, we're just really happy to be able to say it: Paddle the Passage is back.

See you in 2027 🤘
