May 12th marks two years since we first (soft) opened the doors to the Lovely Ice Cream & Treats Shop!

Many things look the same but lots has completely changed. Our staff has more than doubled from 6 people working full time to now having a team of over 15 to keep the small batches churning. On Day 1, there was a total of 12 items on the menu board, we now have dozens of ice cream and treats on the menu daily. But at its core, Lovely wouldn’t be the magical place that it is without our community and we’re forever grateful that all of you love our treats as much as you do!

Whether you’ve joined us for post hike or ski treats, date nights, run clubs, gingerbread house decorating, afternoon tea, bike tours, espresso, or just really good small batch ice cream and treats, we’re happy you’re here 🩵

Flowers & a Cream Tea bundle! What more could you want for Mother’s Day? 💐🫖

We’ll have Emily from Flora & Fern with a flower pop up at the shop on Friday and Saturday. There will be lots of beautiful fresh spring bouquets available 🌸🌺

We’re also hosting a Brunch & Tea service at the shop, but if you’re not able to join us, we’ll have Cream Tea Boxes available for order and purchase at the shop!

Cream Tea Boxes will include;
- 4 scones
- strawberry jam
- clotted cream
- 2 tea bags

Mother’s Day Brunch & Tea at Lovely! 🫖

Join us for a brunch time tea service on Mother’s Day weekend. Lots of delicious nibbles, including scones, tartlet, quiche, cheesecake, truffles, and of course finished with a mini ice cream sandwich. Choose from a selection of green, black, or herbal teas to accompany each of the three courses!

For the month of April, we’ve joined the Vegan Chef Challenge to offer a few more vegan treats on the menu!

Chocolate & Mango Mousse (V) - This yummy dessert is made with two layers mousse, chocolate on the bottom and a coconut & mango mousse in the middle and then topped with a mango gel 🍫🥭

Lime Waffle & Piña Colada Ice Cream Sandwich - Two lime waffles with a layer of piña colada ice cream in the middle. A perfect balance of zesty and sweet, this one makes us wish we were on a beach! 🍋‍🟩🍍🥥

NEW FLAVOUR! Haskap & Lemon has hit the menu at the shop! A sweet and creamy lemon base with a tart and rich haskap berry compote. It’s so good, you’ll find us eating this one straight from the pint 🤩

What’s a haskap berry, you ask? Also known as a honeyberry, it’s got a unique flavour - think raspberry crossed with a blueberry and add a hint of blackcurrant.

We are sorry to report that the shop will be closed today (Feb20) 😢 A pipe burst last night due to the deep freeze temps over the last wee while, so we're working alongside the Shops of Canmore team to repair things and we'll be back up and running with fresh treats as soon as possible!
